Small Town, Big Taste: South Fork in North Bend, WA

After a misty, magical morning at Snoqualmie Falls (and a hike that would make anyone ravenous) my mom and I were ready to refuel. Earlier that day one of my friends said I just had to have lunch at South Fork, and boy was she right!

We didn’t know what to expect, but from the moment we pulled into the lot, to inside the restaurant, and back out again where the food was made- spot on. Everything about it had such a charming, rustic vibe. I loved the color palette and design choices. But it was the back patio that really sealed the deal for me. Picture this: a food truck cooking up your order, picnic tables scattered across a patio, tucked under string lights. What used to be a golf course is your view now, people playing games like cornhole. Mountain air still fresh in your lungs. That’s the kind of place South Fork is- relaxed, local, and exactly what you need after climbing a mountain.

I ordered the Bigfoot Burger and listen, I’m not usually a burger kinda gal, but this one? Chef’s kiss. I am still thinking about it days later. I can’t wait to bring my friends back and watch their reactions to this absolute gem of a restaurant I’ve discovered.
